OUR IMPACT
At Total Praise Ministries, Inc. (TPM), we are proud of the positive impact our programs have on the lives of youth and the communities we serve. Through our arts education, mentorship, and performances, we provide a platform for young artists to develop their talents, build confidence, and gain essential life skills. Our commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment has empowered countless students to explore their creativity and grow as individuals.
Our youth programs are dedicated to cultivating the creative potential of young artists and providing them with the necessary skills to succeed in the performing arts and life. Our programs aim to foster a supportive and inclusive environment, empowering students to explore their passion for drama, dance, singing, and art. Through our YASS summer program, we've had the opportunity to train, mentor, and watch blossom students from The Long Beach, Compton, Lynwood, Los Angeles, Downey, and even Las Vegas School Districts with many continuing their pursuit of the Arts in their local schools, colleges or careers.

Our performing arts ministry is dedicated to producing powerful gospel stage plays. We seek to provide a platform for artists and aspiring artists who share our vision and want the opportunity to create and display their talents on stage or behind the scenes. We create original modern-day stories with Biblical principles that have the transformative power to encourage, inspire and uplift performers and audiences alike. If you have a passion for the Arts and sharing the love of God, we invite you to join us. Sign up to volunteer or audition for our next production. Our aim is to inspire, to uplift, to heal, one person, one family, one community, one production at a time.
Our Impact Over The Years
2021-2024
Total Praise Ministries is making a dynamic comeback in 2024, rebranded as TPM Productions after a pause during COVID-19. Relaunching with renewed energy, TPM Productions will introduce exciting new gospel stage plays, expand its summer arts education program, and launch after-school drama clubs in Long Beach schools. With a focus on empowering youth through the arts, TPM Productions is set to inspire the next generation of performers and storytellers while continuing its mission of community upliftment through creative expression
2018-2020
In 2018, our team set out to make a greater impact on the youth in our community by launching a summer arts education program for students entering grades 4 through 12. We kicked off this initiative in Tracy’s backyard, bringing together youth from family, friends, and neighbors, along with a talented group of educators on summer break. That's how Y.A.S.S. – Youth Arts Summer Spectacular – was born! That first summer, a small group of 12 students performed an original play, *SKINZ: Learning to Love the Skin You’re In*, written and directed by Tracy. We proudly hosted our first Showcase of the Arts event at Lakewood Village Community Church, setting the stage for what would become a growing tradition. The following year, the program expanded significantly, with more than double the student performers and the addition of a student backstage crew from school districts across Long Beach, Compton, Lynwood, Downey, and Los Angeles. Our second annual Showcase of the Arts took place at Cabrillo High School Auditorium, featuring an encore performance of *SKINZ* to a nearly full house of students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community members. The performance earned a standing ovation, and Cabrillo’s stage manager, David Kersey, praised the students for their stage presence and authentic performances. We also returned to the stage with an encore of *CHOICES* in 2020, this time opening the production to theater arts students from LBCC and CSULB, who had the opportunity to perform alongside SAG actors in lead roles.
2015-2017
In 2015, inspired by a group of friends who were passionate about her plays, Tracy decided to expand her writing beyond the walls of the church and her school. Though the journey came with its challenges—limited financial resources and venues—the calling was undeniable. Determined to make a difference, the team pressed forward, and in 2016, Total Praise Ministries Inc. was born. The following year marked a milestone as they produced their first major theatrical production, the gospel stage play *CHOICES*, at California State University Long Beach Theater. Alongside this achievement, they launched the Diamonds and Pearls mentoring group for middle and high school girls, hosted a community open mic event called The Family Showcase Night, and provided a FREE Parents' Night Out Outdoor Movie event for single parents with children ages 5 to 12
