TPM4 the ARTS

Total Praise Ministries is dedicated to enriching the lives of our youth in Long Beach and surrounding communities with "All That YASS!" our Youth Arts Summer Spectacular!

 

Each summer we proudly host an arts education program which includes drama, dance, singing, and art.  Our program is designed to help students grow and display their talents and interest in the arts.  At the end of our 6-week program, youth perform in our Showcase of the Arts event. In addition to offering quality entertainment and training in the arts, we also offer mentorship so that our at-risk youth can meet grade and conduct requirements that would allow them to participate in art programs in their school.

 

Research shows that students who participate in Art programs have the potential to improve memory and concentration skills, develop decision-making and critical thinking skills, enhance communication and listening skills, encourage focus and discipline, as well as, help students to improve self-esteem and social skills.

 

We do this by creating and producing artful activities that promote confidence, empathy, and self-awareness.

 

We work with some of the best artists, musicians, teachers and coaches in the city of Long Beach and Los Angeles and Orange counties.
